Photolimits is a Belgium-based photographers’ platform specialized in social documentary photography. It was founded in 2006. In (inter-)national photographic stories, the photographers address social phenomena like cultural, economic or social tensions, ecological issues, religious matters, et cetera. The stories do not particularly focus on visual headlines but concentrate on more elaborate, considered and comprehensive approaches of different items. Started out of sincere interest and investigation of the subject matter, Photolimits offers a diverse view on documentary photography in a growing series of albums. Members in March 2010: Bernard Onderdonck (bernard@photolimits.be) - one of the founders, RRonny Smedts, Wouter Vanvaerenbergh, Danny Veys, Johannes Vande Voorde, Frederick Vanwalleghem, Franky Verdickt, Olivier Cornil.
