The CBC is Canada’s national public broadcaster. On the ‘Photo galleries’ section on their website they offer a large number of photographic reports of news topics and background stories. Not just Canadian, but also global issues are addressed. There are a few selections made up of images in the news, like ‘The week in pictures’, ‘The week in sports’ and every month an ‘Around the world’ selection.
