Citizen Camera is a Limited Company based in South East England, which creates participation-based video and photography projects. It works closely with communities to help develop skills and record personal stories and experiences. It doesn’t adapt an outsider's perspective, but rather encourages and empowers communities, charities and other organisations through the use of media.

Citizen Camera works closely with PhotoPhormations, a documentary film, and investigative photojournalism company. Both were initiated by (a.o.) Karin Stowe, documentary filmmaker and journalist.
