The École Nationale des Beaux Arts is a state-run art school offering high-level courses. Students combine the foundations of the artistic process with the challenges of contemporary art.

Foreign language courses are now fully established curriculum components. This academic year, the school also organises theoretical research courses: second cycle students will write and defend a research paper.

Applicants should have a strong command of French and are requested to show this, for instance by certificates. Also, certified French translations of all foreign-language documents should be provided.

The library (situated at 13, Quai Malaquais in Paris) is open to the public.
