Photo gallery Lang in Samobor was founded in November 2002, as part of the non-profit Association for the Advancement of Contemporary Photography FOTUM - Samobor. The gallery’s exhibitions travel to other spaces in Croatia and abroad.

The gallery aims to inform its audience about the European photographic scene, for example by granting access to their library which contains diverse European photography journals like Imago, European Photography, Hasselblat Review, Camera Austria and Aperture.

Photo gallery Lang also organises exhibitions and promotes Croatian photography abroad. In the fall of 2008, Lang presented works by the renowned Split photographer Nikola Kozuh at the photography festival Noorderlicht in Leeuwarden. the Netherlands.
