Summary of institute: Fotomuseet Sundsvall , in Sundsvall, Sweden emerged out of the needs of the photographic, art and journalistic educations systems in the Mid-Swedish region, historically a heavy industrial part of the country. Fotomuseet Sundsvall has 300 m2 of exhibition premises and has housed over 50 shows. Fotomuseet Sundsvall's objective is to show documentary and communicative photography.
