John Demos (1944, Thessaloniki) is a photographer who studied in Chicago, but returned to Athens in 1968. Since then he not only realized numerous exhibitions and publications of his work, he also contributed to the photography scene in Greece by founding the Photographic Center of Athens, where he also teaches. In 1988 he started Apeiron Photos, an agency and publishing house.
