La Fototeca Guatemala opened in 2009 as a space dedicated to contemporary photography. Workshops, exhibitions, a photo library, book publishing and cultural events are all part of La Fototeca.

Founders of La Fototeca are Mamu de Tezanos and JJ Estrada Toledo.
