La Société Française de Photographie (SFP) is the oldest photographic association in France. It was was founded in 1854 by a group of enthusiasts, scientists and artists, and has one of the world's largest collections of images and historical equipment. The society works with a team of researchers and historians, specialised in the history of photography.
The SFP has a library containing over 10.000 titles and around 500 magazine titles from 24 different countries.
