Rob Hornstra is a Dutch documentary photographer. Recently, his serie 101 billionaires, about the decay of Eastern European societies, was one of the highlights of
fotofestival Naarden 2009. In 2004, Hornstra received the Dutch Photo Academy Award and in 2007 he won the GD4ART International Competition Award. In 2009 he was nominated for the ‘Prix de Rome’, the most prestigious art prize awarded by an international jury in the Netherlands.
