Stephen Bulger opened his gallery in 1995. It offers estates (portfolio’s of diseased photographers), photographs from Canadian press archives and works by an impressive list of working artists such as Jim Goldberg, Susan Meiselas and Gabor Szilasi.

The gallery not only hosts exhibitions, it also offers a (online) bookstore, tips on collecting photography and an annual portfolio viewing for which you can find submission guidelines on the website.

According to Darcy Killeen (Director of CONTACT Photo Festival), Bulger is the largest dealer in Canada. He is also one of the founders of CONTACT (Toronto Photography Festival).
