The Aftermath Project grants funding to photographers who document the aftermath of a conflict. Annually two production grants are awarded of up to $25.000 are awarded. The work produced through these grants is subsequently used to 'educate the public about the real cost of war and the true price of peace' through lectures, exhibitions and workshops, partly given by the grant recipients.
Extra information: The grant application usually appears online in mid-August, and the application deadline is in early November. Each year the Aftermath Project also publishes a book is published showing the work of the grant recipients.
Founder and director of The Aftermath Project is Sara Terry. Please contact her if you have any questions.
