The Photographers' Gallery is the largest public gallery in London dedicated to photography. From the latest emerging talent to historical archives and established artists, it exhibits photography in all its forms. Besides exhibitions, TPG is also the right place for talks and events, a well-selected bookshop, prints and an extensive educational program.
The Photographers' Gallery does not accept unsolicited proposals for exhibitions, and is unable to respond to submissions on an individual basis. Unfortunately, the Gallery cannot guarantee to return any material sent in.
Practitioners seeking feedback about their work may be interested to know that TPG offers a series of events entitled 'Folio Forum' which provide an opportunity for individuals to show and discuss their work and practice with a professional in a public forum. Send an email to
talks@photonet.org.uk for more information.
The Photographers' Gallery produces the high-profile annual £30,000
Deutsche Börse Photography Prize. Past prizewinners include Andreas Gursky (1998), Juergen Teller (2003), Robert Adams (2006), Esko Männikkö (2008) and Paul Graham (2009).
TPG publishes a magazine called ‘Great ’, featuring the gallery’s exhibitions and special evens.
