X Ottawa Photography Festival is a biennial with event programming called ‘X Out of Bounds’ in alternative years. X's main objective is to increase awareness of photographic art in the Ottawa and Gatineau region, and to create opportunities for photographic artists and enthusiasts. Their additional program exists of lectures, panel discussions and film screening. The next edition is probably in 2011.
