BFF is an association for professional photographers who passed the critical eye of a professional jury. Besides a section for journalism and reportage, BFF (a.o.) also represents food and fashion photographers. They organize a biennial meeting about the field of professional photography.

The BFF issues an award for the best graduate of a German academy: BFF Promotion Award / Förderpreis. Application forms (German students only) can be found on here .
