BlackFlash Magazine is a magazine about photography and new media in art. It presents critical opinions and ideas about contemporary art from across Canada, the United States and beyond. The magazine includes profiles, interviews, reviews, feature articles and artist projects from both emerging and established artists, writers, and curators. BlackFlash covers the entire range of photographic genres.
Photographers can make an artist profile on the BlackFlash website, which is an interesting online counterpart in itself. The uploaded work might be featured in a future issue of the magazine.
BlackFlash 2.0 is a collaborative writing project that will source your ideas, comments and photos for upcoming issues of BlackFlash magazine. Readers can make suggestions for anything or anyone they’d want written about.
