Bozar (referring to the French beaux arts, which means fine arts) is housed in a building by famous art nouveau architect Victor Horta. It opened its doors in 1928, granting access to two concert halls, exhibitions rooms and conference rooms scattered across no less then eight floors and numerous staircases.
The program of exhibitions includes documentary projects, but the building in itself is worth a trip as well.
Bozar regularly hosts and organises multidisciplinary festivals revolving around themes like Africa, Asian staged arts and of course the
Summer of Photography.
