The Centre Photographie d’Ile de France belongs to a national network of art centres. The CPIF is interested in research, production and dissemination of artistic projects concerning both new and established forms of photographic practise. At the same time, the Centre follows the developments in other contemporary art practises and reflects on its own role.

The centre offers exhibitions, conferences, workshops and production resources. Each year, they provide a residency to an international artist whose work has been or will be shown at the centre.
