Fotogeschichte is an internationally renowned magazine that deals with the relation between photography and society. It treats photography as a cultural, political, aesthetical and social phenomenon.

Fotogeschichte is a quarterly magazine. Each issue contains four to six scientific essays by renowned authors and various articles on photo books and exhibitions, as well as listings of new research concerning the history of photography.
