Gallery 44 is a centre for contemporary photography, which consists of an art gallery, bookshop, resource centre and production facilities. It offers education programs, weekend workshops and gallery tours. Gallery 44 contributes to the dialogue on contemporary photography through their major publications and exhibition catalogues.

Gallery 44 encourages submissions of exhibition proposals. Check out the website for dates and details.

Documentary photography is not the main subject of Gallery 44, but now and again you will find some, and the centre is an interesting place for contacts.
