The General Foundation is a collection of reflective and critical works, that each in their individual way question the representation of reality. Although they do not focus specifically on documentary photography, the collection encompasses works by artists like Martha Rossler and Alan Sekula.

Besides a reading room and a shop stacked with books and dvd’s, the foundation hosts exhibitions, education and a program of lectures, guided tours and the like.
