Item is a French photographers collective based in Lyon. It unites five photographers who are interested in current affairs, social issues, music, human interest stories and city life.

Besides working on stories as individual photographers, they work on stories as a collective as well. The collective regularly invites other photographers to cooperate or to have them look at their work.
