The Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP) is a reference source for many researchers and photographers. This centre for contemporary photographic art houses an exhibition centre, a large library, a video viewing facility, an auditorium, a bookshop and a café. The MEP’s library and video catalogue are also available online.

The MEP has a collection of photographs ranging from the 1950’s to today.

One of MEP’s main tasks is to organise the Mois de la Photo à Paris.
