Director of the MAI is Adriaan Elligens

The MAI conserves the archives of many famous Dutch photographers, as well as the photographic archive of the Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM). It now contains about fourty archives and it’s still growing. Up until now, the archives date back to 1930. It is possible for newspapers, publishers and other intstitutes to purchase images. The MAI also develops book publications and exhibitions, using its many archives.
