MAXXI_Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo is the first Italian museum in Italy dedicated to contemporary arts and architecture. Besides organising exhibitions, the museum is a laboratory for experiment, study and research.

The museum houses a documentation centre and a large collection of contemporary art and architecture. It also organises lectures, performances and other activities.
