The Cracow
Museum of History of Photography is the only institution in Poland in its field. It was founded in 1986 and is run by director Maciej Beiersdorf. Since then the museum has gathered, processed, stored, preserved and provided cultural goods from the field of photography, history and technique as well as from artistic photography. It conducts scientific, educational, expositional and editorial activities. The Head of Museum is Maciej Beiersdorf.
