Ruud Visschedijk (1955) graduated in politicology in the early 80ies. He was active in the field of film as organizer, author and boardmember of the Netherlands Fund for Film (among others). In 2001, he became director of the Nederlands Fotomuseum Rotterdam. Before that he worked in the Netherlands Fotomuseum in Amsterdam and the Zuiderzee museum in Enkhuizen.
