The three-year course combines practice with theory, and involves guest lectures and tutors, Swedish and overseas photographers, critics and artists. In the first year, students are given a theoretical and technical basis in photography. The second and third year allow for a freer kind of training. Year 2 includes an extensive group project, plus an external project in which students have the chance to test their knowledge and skills outside the school. Year 3 is largely devoted to major individual projects.
