LUMIX FESTIVAL FOR YOUNG PHOTOJOURNALISM / LUMIX FESTIVAL FüR JUNGEN FOTOJOURNALISMUS
Lumix festival (since 2009) is a biennial in Hannover, organized by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in cooperation with the German photojournalist union
FreeLens. Universities, photo- and journalism-schools as well as professional photo reporters up to the age of 35 from all over the world are invited to participate.
Two prizes are awarded to photographers up to 35 years old: the multimedia award for the best multimedia presentation, and the FreeLens award for the best photo report. The latter is issued by
FreeLens, the biggest German organization of photojournalists.
