Transphotographiques is an initiative of the Lille-based Maison de la Photographie. This early spring festival offers exhibitions, workshops (in French called ‘stage’), conferences, educational programs and portfolio viewings. The event invites a special guest each year, who’s work defines that year’s theme. The festival is scattered across the city and suburbs of Lille: presentations are shown in various institutions and galleries.
